Master in School and Counseling Psychology

PURPOSE OF THE STUDY PROGRAM 

The overall purpose of the program is to train school psychologists and counselor who will improve the competences of students in schools and build the capacities of the systems to address the needs of the children and youth. The program draws on competencies outlined by American Psychological Association (APA) and guiding principles of school psychology, to support students in developing and enhancing their understanding and application of research skills, ethical and legal standards, individual and cultural diversity, communication and interpersonal skills, assessment, intervention and consultation and inter-professional skills.

MISSION OF THE STUDY PROGRAM

Program aims to train capable school psychologist and counsellor, who will nurture school communities by advocating for and promoting a healthy learning environments based on evidence practices in order to ensure individual student success in current and future endeavors.
